BA(hons) Interactive Media final year exhibition

At the Riverfront Newport (08-09 May 2009)

The gotoAndPlay09 exhibition is the culmination of three years of hard work and study in the field of Interactive Media at the University of Wales Newport.



We have explored a wide range of media, from the more traditional forms including digital video, audio, photography, animation and web design, through to contemporary forms like mobile media content, social networking, interactive art and augmented reality.



It’s not all high-tech fun and games though (although there are a few games), as artists and designers we have examined the psychological, sociological, economic and environmental issues in relation to the field of Interactive Media. Our exhibits are backed up with relevant cultural and theoretical study and a deep understanding of what 'interaction' really means in today’s multimedia world.
